The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission (BHCSWMC) is seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to oversee administrative, scale house, and office operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, customer service, financial administration, and initial human resources coordination, while ensuring compliance with best practices and public-sector standards. The Office Manager works closely with the Facility Supervisor, Administrator, and external HR and safety partners to ensure smooth and professional administrative operations in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission is seeking an experienced individual to manage the day-to-day operations of the Black Hawk County Landfill in a working-manager capacity. This position provides hands-on leadership for landfill operations, equipment usage, staff and contractor supervision, and regulatory compliance. The Facility Manager plays a key role in operational planning, performance measurement, and environmental stewardship while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant landfill operations.
