The Black Hawk Sanitary Landfill accepts waste from the cities and counties within the landfill’s service area. The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission does not collect any materials and they do not operate any waste hauling vehicles. Dumpsters and haulers must be contracted through a private company or your city (if this service is available).
