Volunteers are needed to assist with the household hazardous waste and electronic Spring Drop-off Event at the Waterloo Waste Management Facility on Saturday, May 11th. We need 40-60 volunteers during each event to help with directing traffic, surveying participants, unloading items from vehicles, and
shrink-wrapping electronics. Volunteers 16+ are asked to help from 8:00 - 12:30. Please consider volunteering.
Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission has tentatively scheduled the spring Electronic and Household Hazardous Waste Event for May 11, 2024 in Waterloo. Registration for this event is open. As a reminder the Cedar Falls Transfer Station accepts electronic waste year around.
